With 7 years PQE, I have built my legal career at the intersection of technology, finance and cross-border commerce. My journey so far has shaped my unique perspective on how legal frameworks can enable, rather than hinder global innovation. My Story in Four Acts: Foundation (Lagos): From primary education in the streets of Lagos, to undergraduate study in Anambra and finally law school in Kano, I started my academic career with excellence, adapting to diverse cultural settings in Nigeria and excelling in all academic platforms. After obtaining a First Class honours from the Nigerian Law School and the prestigious Director General's Prize, I cut my teeth at a tier-1 international law firm - Templars, advising on multimillion-dollar deals that shaped my understanding of high-stakes commercial law across Africa. Expansion (Beijing): Being a triple scholarship recipient (Chinese Government, Peking University(PKU) & BRI), I progressed to my LLM studies at PKU (Asia’s No.1 university), navigating laws of multiple jurisdictions - China, the U.S, U.K and the EU on transnational commerce, emerging technologies, global IP, cross-border M&A and corporate law. I juggled this intense academic program with two internships at leading entities in China, including the International Chamber of Commerce, and graduated as valedictorian with Distinction. Building on the rich experience at PKU, I led Chinese and multinational companies through legal expansion across Africa and APAC (China Mainland, Hong Kong and Singapore). My contributions earned annual career promotions and expanded project portfolios, while simultaneously passing the UK SQE in the top quintile and earning recognition through awards including the Young Achievers Award. In addition, I received multiple rewards from the Hangzhou Government in recognition of my excellence at PKU. Bridge (London): Now UK-based, I leverage my fluency in English, Chinese and intermediate proficiency in French, to guide companies in navigating complex regulatory landscapes. From corporate M&A and commercial advisory to data privacy compliance & AI governance frameworks, I turn legal complexity into competitive advantage across three continents. Beyond the Boardroom: When I'm not crafting contracts or analysing regulations, you'll find me on stage performing opera and pop, or with violin in hand exploring classical pieces. I channel competitive energy through badminton and develop analytical skills with chess. I deliver presentations on the intersection of law and technology sharing knowledge & gaining insights from peers..
